Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Find answers to your questions about using Garments Finder.

General

GarmentsFinder.com is a specialized global online directory designed to connect fashion brands, retailers, and entrepreneurs ("Buyers") with garment manufacturers, suppliers, and related service providers ("Suppliers") worldwide. We aim to simplify the complex process of apparel sourcing by providing a centralized platform with verified company profiles.

Buyers can search our extensive database using various filters (location, services, certifications, MOQ, etc.) to find potential partners. Suppliers create detailed profiles showcasing their capabilities, which are then visible to Buyers searching the directory. Garments Finder facilitates discovery and initial connection; subsequent communication and business agreements happen directly between Buyers and Suppliers.

Our platform serves two main groups: * Buyers: Fashion brands (startups to established), retailers, designers, sourcing agents, and entrepreneurs looking for clothing manufacturers, textile suppliers, trim providers, CMT units, and other apparel production services. * Suppliers: Garment factories, textile mills, wholesale suppliers, private label manufacturers, trim/accessory suppliers, and apparel service providers seeking global visibility and connections with potential clients.

Searching the directory and viewing basic supplier profiles is generally free for Buyers. Suppliers may have options for free basic listings and potentially paid premium features for enhanced visibility or additional profile capabilities. Please check our registration options for details.

Buyers

Use the search bar on our homepage or navigate to the Companies page. You can enter keywords (like "t-shirt manufacturer," "denim supplier," "organic cotton") and use the filters in the sidebar to narrow results by country, company type, services, specializations, certifications, MOQ range, and more.

The "Verified" badge indicates that Garments Finder has performed a basic check based on documentation provided by the Supplier (e.g., business registration). It does not guarantee quality, reliability, or full accuracy of all profile claims. Verification is a starting point; Buyers must always conduct their own thorough due diligence before engaging with any supplier. See our Terms of Service for a full disclaimer.

Use the "Certifications" filter in the search sidebar. Look for relevant certifications like GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), Fair Trade, WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), OEKO-TEX, B Corp, etc. You can also use keywords like "sustainable," "organic," or "ethical" in your search, although filtering by certification is often more precise.

Use the "Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)" filter in the search sidebar. You can enter a maximum value (e.g., 500) to find suppliers potentially suitable for smaller production runs. Remember that MOQ information is provided by the supplier and should be confirmed directly.

No, you can browse and search the directory without creating an account. However, an account might be required for features like saving favourite suppliers or accessing certain communication tools if implemented in the future.

Suppliers

Click on the "List Your Company" or "Register" button (usually in the site header or footer). You'll need to create an account and then follow the steps to build your company profile, providing details about your business, services, location, capabilities, certifications, etc. You can register via the website.

To create a comprehensive and effective profile, be prepared to provide: * Company Name, Logo, Description, Website * Contact Information (Email, Phone) * Address(es) including Country, City * Company Type (Manufacturer, Wholesaler, etc.) * Services Offered (e.g., CMT, FPP, Pattern Making) * Product Specializations (e.g., T-shirts, Denim, Activewear) * Certifications Held (with details if possible) * Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) * Founded Year, Employee Count * High-quality Images and relevant Videos (Optional but recommended)

Information about the verification process and requirements will be available within your supplier dashboard after registration. Generally, it involves submitting specific business documents for our team to review. Achieving verified status can increase trust and visibility.

Complete your profile thoroughly with accurate details. Use high-quality photos and videos showcasing your facilities and products. Clearly list all your services, specializations, and certifications. Consider opting for premium features if available. Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries also builds a good reputation.

Our platform supports group company structures. You can register the parent company and indicate it's a group. You can then typically add subsidiary companies linked to the parent profile. Check your account dashboard for options related to managing group structures or contact support for assistance.
